Foreman

Crew management
• Scheduling: Create daily and weekly schedules, monitor crew attendance, and afternoon planning for next days tasks.
• Critical Thinking/Problem-solving: Address personnel issues promptly and foster a positive team environment.
• Task allocation and management: Responsible for deploying correct means and methods for your crew.

Project and site management
• Planning: Interpretation and application of plans and specs. Develop a clear project plan and communicate it to the
crew to ensure everyone is aligned on goals and tasks. Photo documentation. As-builts with GPS on plans. Organized plans
and job site documentation including testing results and permit.
• Execution: Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans, and supervise the use of machinery and equipment.
• Quality control: Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met, conduct quality checks, and make necessary
corrections.

Materials and budget management
• Materials and scheduling: Coordination of trucking for your project. Plan and order materials in advance to reduce
downtime and coordinate timely deliveries. Verification of quantities and timelines with Project Manager. Notification and
verification of locates. Scheduling of compaction testing and taking documentation to office staff.
• Execution: Coordination with onsite supervisors and trades for smooth operation, coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans, and supervise the use of machinery and equipment.

Safety and compliance
• Conduct: Maintain a professional and respectful attitude, avoiding inappropriate behavior like harassment, bullying, or
showing up under the influence.

Excavator Operator

We’re looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on excavation and construction sites. Must be comfortable reading site plans, digging to grade, working around utilities, and jumping in to support the crew when needed. Experience with dozers, skid steers, and loaders is a plus.

Requirements:
1+ year of experience operating excavators Ability to read grades and follow site plans Basic equipment maintenance knowledge Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Team player willing to assist with labor tasks when needed

Skilled Laborer

We are currently hiring an experienced Skilled Laborer to take on more advanced tasks in our projects. This role requires proficiency in grade shooting, pipe fitting, and operating compaction equipment. Previous experience with heavy equipment is a must. If you have a solid background in construction and are looking to apply your skills in a dynamic environment, we’d love to have you on board.
Requirements:
  • Experience in grade shooting and pipe fitting
  • Proficiency in using compaction equipment
  • Equipment operation experience necessary
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

General Laborer

Sapphire Construction is looking for a motivated General Laborer to join our team! If you have at least 1 year of construction experience and are eager to learn more about dirt work, this is the perfect opportunity for you. We’re seeking someone with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a passion for learning the trade. Basic math skills are essential for this role.
